Blog Watch - A nook in the Attic

Its been a little while since I made a blogwatch post, but I have been collecting my faves for future posts! Although this blog is only new to my favourite lists, I think I've read almost all her entries, as they are really touching and beautiful, not just to look at, but to read. Imagine a worth with stunning colour in every corner of your house, this adorable blog has splashes of stunning in every post, and I was drawn in like a moth to a rainbow bright flame.  Step into the crochet brilliance of Attic24

how can you not smile at the abundance of colour and perfection these blankets, granny squares, teacups and flowers. They are some of my most favourite images I've seen to date on a blog. I could literally print them for the walls of my craft room I adore them so much. It has made me ache for a basket full of brightly coloured solid balls of yarn and a crochet hook. Just so I too can make blankets like this.

Although I adore every image on this blog, it's not just the pictures that draw you in, her wonderful luscious stories are just a breath of fresh air, being a mum to two little ones myself, its always so lovely to read other mummy posts. The post on Yes Day made me smile at the absolute simplicity of making children happy. That we as parents have the ability to say yes, all the time if we want to. Even if you look at nothing else on her blog, please read yes day, its innocent and beautiful.

For now, I'll leave you with some more gorgeous photographs, this blog is as I said before, literally dripping with colour and muse dust! If you cant crochet, pick up a hook and start, if this isnt a wake up call for dormant crocheters I dont know what is. BlogWatch - A little Cafe with your Yarn.

Todays little blog watch is closer to home! I thought it was time I featured an Aussie Yarnie! and this week I have found the perfect yarnista for your eyes to feast on! In a nook far off into the internet, was the lovely Elissa, and her Blog/Shop

With colourways that make you want to squeel with delight, and delishious base yarns from all walks of life, this little blog and store has a little something for every yarnaholic. As a dyer myself, I always look for something that screams joy

 and beauty, every image on this delightful little blog evokes just that...how can you not smile, at a rainbow of yarn.

Hold your breath a little longer, and take a look at the stunning gradient yarns elissa has featured on her blog.

Her blog has yarn perves no matter where you look, down the sidebar are all her zingy colourways, in each post is some form of yarn beauty! 

She just released a beautiful set of green yarns, in all shades and all yarn bases. This skein below is 60% Baby Alpaca 30% Merino 10% Bamboo, who wouldnt want to knit with this!

Blog Watch! SplitYarn Beautiful

Its that time of the week again, for a little yarn blog feature, and I've scoured for the entire week of my fave little nooks to bring you this modern and funky knitter/crafter who makes beautiful acessories for the knitters of today. I give you ... SplitYarn

She makes adorable little needle cases, for needles in stunning prints, aswell as adorable camera straps if you want something a little left of center this is the place to go!

Whats a feature without some yarn perving, her photos are beautiful, her knits are beautiful, and she seems to be after my own heart with the amounts of green she uses in her projects. 

The yarn below turned into a sweater for herself, which looked stunning finished.

I only wish I had enough time to knit myself such lovely items of clothing! Her little blog features shop updates, posts about her day to day life, vibrant photographs and of course knitting, yarn perves and project details. Not only is this blog utterly sweet, there are several tutorials within her blog on how to fix mistakes with photo references, if that isnt a reason to look at a blog I dont know what is, you may learn something for the day.

All things Wool - Blog Feature.

I spend alot of my time, in other peoples knitting and wool adventures, there are blogs that just take me on this beautiful journey into their projects, their lives and their souls. I thought it was high time to start showing the people that inspire me beyond belief. My first feature, is a blog I only stumbled on last night as it so happens, I forgot where the clicking started to get me to her blog, but there I was last night, just adoring every thing she wrote about, her photos were lush and vibrant, everything about this little blog was endearing.

her work is truly amazing, she spins aswell, so drool over the handspun. The colours in her projects are just, Im left speechless bascally, as a dyer and a knitter myself, this woman has an eye for brilliant combinations.

I envy her ability to do socks, one day I shall overcome such tasks!

She has a little etsy shop but not to my surprise she is currently sold out of all her stock.

Even though she is sold out now, I urge you to bookmark her as your fave, and check back as this is really yummy yarn.
