Get Your Art on Day 20 :- Willowing Inspired.

I hit a bit of a creative blank today, with the rain and the cold, I couldn't seem to get my mind working, so I did a bit of flickr surfing to get my brain working, when I came across some of Willowing's 2011 journal pages, and suddenly I wanted to recreate but with a me spin on some of her beautiful girls. She always does the best hair i swear lol.
so here is my rendition of a few of her pages into one.

its an ode to the move in October.. its almost there. I keep chanting that to myself, over and over to stay sane.

I hope to work on this page tonight once the kids are asleep and its just the boy and I, and the quiet...I want to embrace the quiet like an old friend these days.

We are approaching the end of the 30 days, but I am hoping to keep going, its nice to have a goal, and you feel so good at the end of the day when you know you've created something, good good feeling!

bit hard to make a video when the little, ones are at kindy.

My Creative Space Thursday

I thought it was about time I started playing Creative Space again today, since I have had my hands in some form of creativity the last few weeks! And this week is no different, with my kid free days this week, I set up a card table in the lounge room near the air con, and shifted my art supplies out! (dreading putting the back today when kids come home lol)

here is the fruits of my journal play lately...


as a gift to myself, to keep my mind occupied and my fingers working, my darling boyfriend bought me a spot in the new Willowing Course Magical Mythical Makings, and so far its been amazing! The first week is goddesses, so I've been sketching away before I tackle the HUGE canvas I have bought for the first assignment! a little daunting since I've never worked on a canvas that big before, but I will get over that fear and create something beautiful... (fingers crossed)

Is getting an overhaul!

Ive started organizing things a bit more so at night I'm not rummaging blindly looking for this that and the next thing! Im excited to get it all sorted as I embark on a healing art journey, Im taking
World of Whimsy 2 over at www.willowing.ning.com and its beautiful! exactly what I need atm, I'm only a week into it, but I'm LOVING everything about it!
