A lovely overcast weekend

The weather goddess is a little tipsy I think, being stupidly hot one day, to freezing cold and overcast with almost constant rain the next! I must admit, its a lovely change to have this rain, its all about the hot tea and the knitting in this weather, I got out my long coat and my berret that soph made me and enjoyed the dark grey skies. I spent a little time at my desk, organising the yarn clubs colourways, gifts and orders lots of dyeing in the next few months, Ive been putting together some really lovely colourways for my club girls, I want to make them feel really spoilt, as I am really touched that so many women wanted a spot in my first little club.

as I sat writing, and collecting, I daydreamed for a whole lot of time, dont remember how much, but this window just begs to be stared at...Its a little square nook in my room, empty teacup from this morning, and my old little journal, full of writings, little artwo
rks and tidbits of beauty.

when Im not caught up in some form of a daydream, Im being a mum, one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs there are, it sometimes breaks me, but more times than not, it makes me. My little boy is growing up to fast, with words coming out of his mouth, that I didnt even teach him, he laughs, he plays hide and seek, he hugs with all his mite, and he kisses his sister goodnight, hello and when she cries. He is my second man.
I havent mentioned my little familiar much in my posts, and its mainly because shes always sunbaking in the veggie patch or chasing eli in the sandpit, shes growing just as fast in front of my eyes, shes a snugglepot and an independant this little cat of mine, Im so luck that hubby let me have another cat, I adore everything about her, my little sprig of Ivy.
a photo I dont have to put up tonight, is that of my little girl, shes 6 months old, in just two weeks I think! to think its been half a year since I had her, I shake my head in amazement that time can be so fast and slippery, I shall have to take a photo of her tomorrow in her little crocheted dress I made her.

I hope all of you enjoyed your Valentines day, I was spoilt with jewellry and chocolates, I have to take my ring back though, as its way to big for any of my fingers, so I shall pick a new ring, but my bracelet from hubby is just beautiful, photos tomorrow, its late and I've been up since 6am, and I have another early start tomorrow, enjoy the rest of your evenings/nights my loves
