what have my hands been up to?

So its been a little while since I've posted, and thats ok, because I've been crafting in all different areas of the artsy world, a little of this, a little of that. here is a few images of what I've been up to.
I cast on a beautiful pattern called "Travelling Women" as an ode to the dear friends I've met, who travel from all parts to hang out, laugh eat knit and spin. These women are my saving grace, this yarn was some stunning seasilk gift to me by my darling friend Lisa
Im getting there slowly, easing myself back into knitting, and this yarn is just so beautiful who wouldnt want to knit with it!At my little art desk, for the past few weeks, I've been working on an order for a lovely lady, who approached me to make her an art journal, I was excited and flattered all at the same time, so after many put togethers of this front cover, the finish product looks like this...its off to its new home already.

As some of you know, I celebrated my 26th birthday on Easter Saturday, and my darling husband totally suprised me this year, with a video camera, he actually listened when I babbled on about wanting to make little movies of our kids and art tutes. I was also given some beautiful stamps and a charm for my pandora bracelet.

that is all from me till I start creating something else!
much love
