journaling 101

Underneath the bed sheets, I sit and think of all the journals I've kept in my life, from the age of 11 with my little fairy journal, with a padlock and keys, to the Italian leather journals I bought in england from shops with adorable names.

Here is where I'm at, creating a journal to my specs. From scratch, literally.

thick cardstock so it holds up to the abuse of paints and watercolour paints, to even binding it myself.

I embark on an adventure.

with random tools by my side and notes from all other journal keepers and writers, Im going to try and fill up a journal a month - 16 pages of thick cardstock.

with my pencils, inky pens, stamps and old pages from french poetry books maybe just maybe, I can create something truly beautiful.
