Get Your Art On - Day One

Playing along with Traci Bunkers, with a month of get your art on!
the rules Traci set for herself are as follows and I think they are pretty good so I'll abide by them as well,
  • I’ll make art every day for 30 days and post what I have done.
  • I don’t have to finish what ever I’m working on that day, I just have to work on something.
  • I have to work for 30 minutes, but can work longer if time permits.
  • It doesn’t matter what I do for the art making, as long as I work on art.
  • I won’t feel guilty for taking the time to work on art and I won’t have to justify why I’m doing it.
  • I don’t have to go into detail in my post about how I did anything or what tools, materials I used (unless I want to).
Today was spent sifting through piles of papers, to create the pages for my junk journal I started a little while back, a labor of love, soon I will have enough odds and ends to make my signatures... I'm thinking I might do a fabric cover, something I've never tried before so the experience will be will be fun!

tomorrow I think I will work in my art journal for the 30 mins of time
Join the fun, its a good way to push yourself to make sure you're creating everyday even if its just for a little bit...every bit helps your soul

  1. Courtney,
Looks like so much fun! I look forward to seeing how the fabric cover turns out. I have not gone down this road yet but I have made some recycled junk books but fabric is next on my list yet. Looking to take an online class by Mary Ann Moss "Remains of the Day" in the future.
