Get Your Art On - Day 2

It's the end of day two for get your art on, and I've just gotten back from my parents bbq with the boy and our tea cup humans. That doesn't mean I didn't get my art on! I packed my little Typo Tote with a few art supplies and my journal and off I went! Determined not to fail this month of art.

Instead of starting something new, I decided I would finish something instead. A few pages in my journal are in need of finishing, and because I'm an ADD journal page starter I have a few that require my attention.

so my lovely angel girl got pretty much finished, with some doily spraying, some stamping, some watercolours, prisma pencil here and there..the only thing missing is some text and a little bit of journalling, but I'll have to decide if it needs it yet.

please excuse the light, Its almost 8pm here, so I had to photograph in my hallway under my brightest light! You can see what she was before I added all the background work HERE

so pop on over to Traci's blog for more artists getting their art on, such a good way to stay inspired...I'm very glad I decided to join in, even if my time lately is so so limited!
Enjoy your Sunday night
xx Courtney

  1. Very cool--I also love the way you write!!

  2. Beautiful! Love what you have done to this page.

  3. I popped over from Traci Bunker's site -- I too am doing the 30 day challenge. Luv your journal! What great expression in that angel's eyes, and those colors are gorgeous. I've never done that type of artwork, but looking forward to learning more as this month progresses.

    Here's my effort

  4. Beautiful page, Raven! I'm doing Traci's 30 day challenge also, and enjoying seeing the other artists at work. Cheers! Helen
