Friday Pages - Explore

I am working against the sunlight today, first against it and when it came time to photograph everything I was searching madly for it!! so please excuse the dreadful photographs of today's Friday pages.





The theme was to chase my own dreams, and no one else's sometimes we just get caught up chasing something that isn't our own. I know I have spent many years of my life, searching madly, grabbing onto anything and half of the time it wasn't something i was very passionate about, until now.

I saw a little youtube video by the lovely Jane Davenport the other day on simple little implied faces, so I had a crack at one on the fly during my art vid today, i think she turned out just fine, such simple lines but they work!!

my little lily is obsessed with my art journal, all the colours and drawings, she sits for long periods of time just flicking the pages, maybe one day I'll make a little art journal just for her..but for now, she decided to help show off mummy's Friday Pages..enjoy

I shall be back next Friday with more than just two pages finished, this week has been frantic with the awesome sick days I had, this was all the art I got done most of the week!
